Jennifer Demello | Biography


jennifer demello3Jennifer Demello is a native of Mexico City and has studied in the United States. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and her Master's degree in Latin American Studies at UCI, Irvine. As a seasoned Program Manager in the nonprofit sector, Jennifer has developed the potential to understand difficult corporate issues and provide innovative solutions that addresses challenges, accomplished benchmarks, and strengthen an environment of cooperation. Growing up bilingual and bicultural, and having worked substantially with varied populations has polished her abilities to interact diplomatically with people of all ranks, cultural backgrounds, and educational levels. She is dedicated, personally and professionally, to establishing healthy communities by creating strategic partnerships that develop access to education and resources. Her interests involves traveling, mentoring, reading, engaging with art, and working with glass. She is currently living in Los Angeles.

  • Designed programming for one of the city’s earliest and most popular charitable public speaker forums with an objective to promote democracy and civic engagement through education and dialogue.
  • Managed the current administration and functions of over fifty courses yearly, negotiated contracts with venues and vendors, coordinated all event logistics, and served as the primary liaison with speakers’ contacts, catering and banquet staff, local police, and the U.S.
  • Secret Service.Synchronized the concerns and answer sessions at Town Hall events between speakers and high school and college students in the Heritage Student Program which offered them the prospect to communicate with role models in government, business, entertainment and the arts.

  • Handled all stages of local community outreach strategies for the leading public television station in Southern California with an objective to offer articles that educates, notifies and inspires, and determines an active medium for modification.
